It’s no secret you want crispy sweet potato fries! I mean why else would you be here! If you’re sick of making sweet potato fries that don’t turn out crispy I have just the recipe for you! You will love these crispy fries and this mouthwatering chipotle aioli.

SO if you’re finally ready to make some homemade sweet potato fries but every time you do they come out a little soggy or mushy. Not what I’m looking for in a fry. I am a sucker for crispy fries. Since you’re looking to get some crispy sweet potato fries tonight, let’s get started. I have been using Flavor God spices so you will see those in this recipe. I have given alternative spice options if you don’t have Flavor God Spices!

INGREDIENTS:

2 large sweet potatoes

1-2 tbsp of olive oil (or avocado oil)

2 ½  tbsp cornstarch

2 tsp of everything spicy. (sub chili powder if you don’t have this)

1 tsp garlic lovers (sub garlic powder if you don’t have this)

Salt

Pepper

Recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Cut the sweet potato into fries.
  3. Rinse with water. I let the fries dry a little bit after this.
  4. Add sweet potato fries to a mixing bowl. Add olive oil and coat all sweet potato fries with olive oil.
  5. In a bowl, mix cornstarch and all seasonings together. Use a whisk.
  6. Add dry mix to the sweet potatoes. Use your hands to rub the seasoning into the sweet potato fries.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes. Flip halfway.
  8. While baking make the chipotle aioli.
  9. ENJOY!

Recipe chipotle aioli (sauce):

  1. Blend ½ cup mayo, half a lime, 1/4 – 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 – 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce.
  2. ENJOY!
