Hi there! Welcome to Mindful Monstera. Today, I’m making buttery garlic twisted breadsticks! THESE. ARE. SO. DELICIOUS. But then again, it’s carbs, bread, and butter so they have to be good right?..

Why did I make these?

I’m a huge fan of breadsticks more so than pizza itself. Maybe an unpopular opinion but it is what it is. So for all you breadsticks fans out there this one is for you! Now, if you’ve been following me for a while you might know I’ve made garlic knots in the past which are also delicious. So, I took that recipe and adapted it so I could make these buttery garlic twisted breadsticks.

Special Diets?

I know some of you have different diets, but lucky for you these buttery garlic breadsticks ARE vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free friendly. These are NOT gluten-free. If you don’t have an issue with dairy you’re welcome to use regular butter for this recipe. If you’re vegan just sub for vegan butter and you’ll have vegan buttery garlic twisted breadsticks! The dough itself is vegan!

What to look forward to?

Budget?

Most of these ingredients you probably already have at home. If you already have flour and butter at your home. This recipe will be very cheap to make because you won’t have to go out and buy anything!

Recipe Tips?

The recipe is pretty straight forward as long as you proof the yeast and knead the dough enough you should have a problem getting these breadsticks to turn out!

If you aren’t vegan, you are welcome to top these breadsticks with parmesan to make parmesan breadsticks!

One more recipe note, you will most likely not use all the seasoning blend! I keep this blend on hand for future breadsticks. So, if you have an empty seasoning jar this is the perfect time to use that.

Storage?

Firstly, these are best served fresh as are most dishes! But if you have leftovers store in an airtight ziplock bag. Don’t let sit for more than a couple of days.
